Hong Kong looking up and looking out: neon over Kowloon, tenements closing in on a strip of sky, trams on Queensway, and the harbour on a night when the cloud came down to the rooftops. Macau is here too, an hour across the water, with the Grand Lisboa rising out of an old street.
