Yaowarat Road

I stood at a crossing on Yaowarat Road, Bangkok’s Chinatown, with an 85mm lens. At that length the neon signs stack on top of each other and the traffic and the people crossing become one layer at the bottom.

Everything here is written in Chinese and in Thai. Many of the signs have hung here for decades, and the street under them is busy until late.
