Eaves in Mist

I stood under the eaves of a temple in the hills around Kyoto while mist sat on the forest below. The roofs frame the view on three sides and a few maple leaves had started to turn at the top.

I don’t remember the name of this temple, only the quiet. In Kyoto that happens to me often: the famous places I can name, the ones I remember best I sometimes can’t.
